The Gap Year Riot @ ABC2

Glasgow’s rock / pop darlings, The Gap Year Riot have announced they will be storming the stage of the city centre’s ABC2 on Friday 20th March.

Their appearance at the venue will not only quell the anticipation of an ever-growing fan-base- it comes as part of their March tour to support the release of their first single, “Hush Hush”. Recorded at the legendary Longwave Studios in Cardiff with legendary record producer Romesh Dodangoda (Funeral for a Friend, Kids in Glass Houses, the Blackout), the release is further testament to the band’s continued ascension in skill and success.

Whether it be opening the Main Stage at Live At Loch Lomond in 2008, or sharing stages with the likes of Twin Atlantic, The Dykeenies and Drive By Argument, The Gap Year Riot have truly cut their performing teeth in the best way imaginable. Their live shows burst with energy and prowess, and their appearance at the ABC2 surely won’t disappoint.
