Initially formed in 1981, the Blow Monkeys are officially back, and better than ever. With 7 studio albums to date, these fellas know what they are doing, and their material is even better when experienced live.
"Their first album in 18 years still finds the frontman in fine voice, Robert continues to sound like he dresses only in velvet and smokes cigarillos" - Q Magazine

Having played in Blind Pew up until very recently, this is the first time that Paul McGranaghan has felt strongly enough about his own songs to perform them to an audience. He's looking forward to experiencing the difference between singing a few numbers with the band to holding the whole thing together on his own although, although he'd be lying if he was saying he wasn't slightly nervous.
His sound is a a mix between some footstomping pop tunes in the same vain as The La's andThe Rolling Stones, with a hint of some of Prince'
s earlier stuff. A couple of songs are on the softer side, harking back to early Oasis and Ryan Adams. Whatever he plays, you're guaranteed to feel an emotional reaction, and both you and the artist will be happy you did.
